Four Gone Confusion comprises John and Di Cullen with Pete and Brenda Storer. John and Di have been part of the South England folk scene for a number of years, being regular club and festival guests in the area after retiring from running pubs and restaurants in the Tunbridge Wells area.
Pete originates from Sheffield, his musical influence coming mainly from his father who was known locally as a pianist. He plays mainly flute, guitar and piano . Brenda, originally from Derby, was told at school that she couldn’t sing, yet through choirs, Pete and Four Gone she has found her voice and now there is no stopping her.
We all got to know each other through various music sessions in local pubs and folk clubs, and formed Four Gone Confusion back in 2016.
The ethos of 4GC is variety , loving tunes, songs and any other material from a wide range of sources. John brings classical and jazz duets , Pete tunes from his barn dance playing and songs from his time as a pub pianist, Di from her vast singing experience and Brenda from her love of a wide range of music.
